Licensing Opportunities/Partnerships

CollaGenex Pharmaceuticals is currently seeking dermatology opportunities with regards to in-licensing new products and technologies as well as out-licensing of products, co-development and co-promotion opportunities. We are looking for interested partners regarding our recently approved Oracea product as well as Restoraderm.

Oracea^® the first and only systemic drug indicated for treatment of inflammatory lesions (papules, pustules) in adult patients with rosacea, was approved by the FDA in May 2006. In addition, CollaGenex filed for European approval in Q1 2006. CollaGenex received a European patent for Oracea in June 2006 and 10 years of exclusivity in the EU is expected. In December 2006, Collagenex signed an agreement for marketing rights to Oracea in the EU.

Restoraderm^® is a unique skin barrier repair technology which can be used as a vehicle for the delivery of pharmaceutical active ingredients and as an improved over-the-counter moisturizing system. Restoraderm is primarily a foam delivery platform composed of ceramides, phospholipids, cholesterols, and other skin precursors normally found in the skin. Restoraderm enhances skin penetration of active pharmaceutical ingredients without additional chemical manipulation and provides several advantages over existing barrier moisturizing products with its non-occlusive and non-greasy texture. Restoraderm is available in an easy to spread foam, as well as gel, lotion, and cream formulations. The company has several products in different stages of development.

CollaGenex is seeking partners for:

• OTC commercialization – currently available products include the moisturizer as well as OTC hydrocortisone, OTC lidocaine, OTC salicyclic acid, OTC urea
• Co-development/co-promotion of RX formulations
